KIRKUS REVIEW

Janet Marsh, Don't Tread on Me (see page 438), is an example. But this, though inevitably there is some overlapping, is far and away the best one that has been done. One traces the different aspects under which democracy has appeared from early Greeks to modern America, Good stories all.
