KIRKUS REVIEW

Almost too much for your money, but there is good application of contemporary events to a story which gives it more solid appeal than most books of airplane adventure. From 1929 to 1941 Joe Tysen pursues his love of planes and piloting, and it takes a bad crash over the Andes, and the resultant hard way of learning true values, to make Joe learn that men of real power are men of good will.
