KIRKUS REVIEW

Here is another in the apparently i of Catholics to produce sky, Basing his work in large part on documents which came to light only l's death, the author examines the factors which determined Carrel's career, ex and reviews the nature and depth of his work, and to a certain acceptable extent, an apologis for certain of his subject's easily misinterpreted political and positions. The book is unusually well written, thoughtful, objective, and fascinating. It is highly recommended to all serious readers, and particularly millions who are familiar with Carrel's classic Man, the Unknown.
