KIRKUS REVIEW

Eleven solid if not inspired pieces with the exception of Frederick Pohl's subtle horror in The Tunnel Under the World where a man wakes up screaming every day...only it's always July 15th. Other pieces tell of an elephant rocking the rocket, mankind programmed peaceable but still subjected to imaginary war games, a lovable criminal with a particularly repulsive puss meeting a four breasted beauty from the past, two robots in an isolated situation, automobiles bending their fenders breaking away from driver controls, and a man getting projected beyond the universe.
