KIRKUS REVIEW

A slight but rather pleasant story of a widow who buries herself in the country but who goes to New York for her sister's birthday party, and of the complications she finds there and her own method of solving them. Philosophical treatment of growing old, of the younger generation, and so on. Neither fish, flesh, fowl nor good red herring, but a safe item for conservatives.
