KIRKUS REVIEW

Good adventure, mystifying plot, well written. The scene is the Arizona-Mexican border, where a young geologist who goes to help a friend who thinks he has struck gold, finds said friend murdered and himself involved in a payroll robbery, dope smuggling and claim jumping. Plenty of hairbreadth escapes -- a bit of romance -- and international secret service to the rescue.
