Rather a disappointment, this collection includes Poul Anderson's gamy tale of cannibalism in a culture that is forced to eat its way into manhood; Mack Reynolds' uninspired look at an artist trying to maintain his artistic identity in a Manhattan in ruins; Ross Rocklynne's idiotic story of a woman searching for her dead husband's great galactic face; and other forgettables with the exception of ""Jinn"" by Joseph Green and a standout, ""Sweet Dreams, Melissa"" by Stephen Goldin, the piquant tale of a computer with a five-year-old personality.
