KIRKUS REVIEW

This is worth considering as a new book, so completely has the edition of 1925 been revised and improved. The authors were not content merely with adding new material. Old material has been reconsidered in the light of developments in conservation, changes in comprehension, in methods of safeguarding our resources. The book is not a history, except as geography and physiography are history. This is a panoramic study of North America, including the Caribbean islands, the countries of Central America and Panama Canal Zone.
