KIRKUS REVIEW

A big, bouncy counting book to delight the fans of Ape in a Cape (1952, p. 679) rhymes its way up to twenty and shows a corresponding number of oddly cavorting animals. There is ""I raccoon dancing in the moon"" and there are ""20 fishes juggling dishes"". All the beasts in between are acting up with equal energy. Mr. Eichenberg's pictures fill each page to bursting. Weak stitching.
