These game books and activity books published by Hart are unfailingly effective as to content- and continually a shock as to format. They still look like the Christmas Annuals from England in my childhood, with old-fashioned drawings. But there is- in this latest addition- definite improvement in paper and typography....The content is as good as ever, -- picture puzzles, jokes, cut-outs, board games, pencil games, quizzes, tricks, word games, and a generous sprinkling of games with a purpose (mathematical games, finger alphabet, identification of objects, etc.). Ideal rainy day and convalescent first aid for busy mothers.
