THE MYSTICAL BODY OF CHRIST

There is probably no one better qualified to write on this subject, certainly no one who could approach so controversial and mystifying a doctrine with such clarity and ceverence. One of the great lecturers and preachers of today, Dr. Sheen possesses that all-too-rare quality which enables him to impress the reader with the mystical truth rather than his own brilliant intellect. The subject matter is simply arranged and written. Saul's persecution of the Church is likened to the State's persecution in Mexico, the wedding in Cana to the times when our courage weakens and runs low. A book to read and have several clergy read. Sheen's influence reaches far beyond the bounderies of the Church of Rome and even out and out Protestants who may disagree heartily on several points of theology will find in it fascinating reading, deep thought, complete understanding and rare spiritual perception. A ""must"" book for Catholics and ""ought"" book for the rest.
