MASTER HOMECRAFT PROJECTS

The author of this practical book is an experienced teacher and supervisor in the field of industrial arts in California, Colorado, Utah. This is a followup on his Home Furniture hing, and in it he has chosen 24 articles strictly modern in design, and selected for range of difficulty for amateurs. Each piece of furniture includes a picture of the finished article, working drawings, a bill for materials, and step by step instructions for construction procedure. Introductory sections give basic information on hand and power tools, and a final section discusses wood finishings. The furniture is primarily for household use --bed, chest, dresser, tables, desk, bookcase; the first project is a workbench; some outdoor furniture is included at the end.
