Jimmy Vanesco, former FBI man turned skiptracer, is hired by old client Wall Street lawyer Clark E. Cunningham to find six men who disappeared in 1963; Cunningham's client, in turn, is Mafia boss Harry Kohn. But what do these men have to do with Lawrence Wallechinsky, the first US ambassador to China in 25 years? And why does East Germany want Wallechinsky assassinated? And why does Chinese assassin Michael Chu kill each of the six men Vanesco seeks (in assorted locales)? Well, the story here is that Wallechinsky, when a top man in the Company, engineered the Kennedy assassination, using six CIA psychos who subsequently were paid off and given new identities. And even wilder is the possibility that JFK is really now still alive (but vegetal) on the island of Skorpios. Eventually, then, after finding the six ex-assassins all colorfully murdered, Vanesco goes to Skorpios, finds JFK's hidden grave, and returns to the States to assassinate Wallechinsky himself. Frantic, gory, and nutty--but passionate JFK-conspiracy fans may want to take a look.
