MILK FOR YOU

Another delightful photographic story about familiar things --this time the process involved in the production and distribution of milk -- from fodder, to udder, to bottle. The photographs, diagrams and brief text tell the young reader what he needs to know about the milk cow -- the calf, milking and what goes on inside her stomach. Also there is copious information about what happens to the milk in a modern dairy before it reaches the table. For all children who have at some time asked the question, ""where does milk come from"" and who won't take a terse ""cow"" for an answer.
