THE NIGHT STELLA HID THE STARS

We're asked to assume, without explanation, that ""Nero the Night Man"" lowers ""the evening curtains"" to darken the sky and ""Stella the Star Lady"" sprinkles the night sky with stars. The story, then, has it that Stella, weary of dusting off the stars and wishing to ""be free to enjoy the day,"" hides them away in a closet-until anxious Nero suggests that she let ""the winds blow off the stardust"" instead. It would take irresistible pictures to redeem this hokum, and these are early calendar art.
