MURDER'S LITTLE HELPER

Better day revelations make this an unfair-to-the-reader mystery, as Gail, surprising her theatrical agent husband, Mike, by unheralded arrival from California, finds a dead woman under his bed. Two more killings, with Mike and Gail hiding out, and the police playing ball with them as a last resort to share the killer from a New York theatrical crowd. Light touch provides good entertainment but poor mystery.
