Strikingly colored and razor sharp cartoons by the author give an ordinary circus fantasy a sparkling veneer. When the Trina circus is invited to America, Gloglo the little seal is winning admiration for his tricks and earns the enmity of animal trainer Casino who pushes him overboard on the ocean voyage. Up north, Gloglo has adventures with his own kind, but is happy when an explorer fetches him home.
