CLEARER, CLEANER, SAFER, GREENER: A Blueprint for Detoxifying Your Environment by Gary Null

CLEARER, CLEANER, SAFER, GREENER: A Blueprint for Detoxifying Your Environment

Pub Date: March 1st, 1990
Publisher: Villard/Random House

This environmental roundup by nutrition guru Null combines chapters on his usual suspects--food additives, food irradiation, pesticides--with others on more general problems of current concern: nuclear wastes, garbage disposal, the greenhouse effect, ozone depletion, and acid rain. All are geared to ""what you can do,"" though there's a little more than Null's usual attention to the politics of pollution. Though more talky than incisive, the book could function as a handy primer for the likely barrage of Earth Day homework assignments--as well as an initial consciousness-raiser for Null's self-health-occupied but considerable following. Complete with addresses of relevant government agencies and citizen groups.
