She had to work with lions first and was clawed and clawed repeatedly but she eventually got her tigers, and landed with Ringling as a star. Stories of her many pupils, with never a word of blame for them when they turn on her, demonstrations of grit and courage. No distinction but interesting reading along the lines of Clyde Beatty's The Big Cage.
