KIRKUS REVIEW

Further exploits of the Chief Engineer of the SS Inchcliffe Castle, as properly fortified with Duggan's Dew, he manages to keep himself and others in and out of trouble all around the world. The firm of Clifford, Castle & Co., Ltd., of London, needles Captain Hall and the crew to outdo themselves in foreign ports, and there are mermaids, bables paintings, plants, cemeteries, diamonds, gambling, fighters, smugglers, refrigerators, etc., to cross Glencannon's path. Hilarious achievements of a Scotsman.
