Nostalgic grandmothers and young readers of 1903 will toss boaters in air at the re-issue of one of the popular Goop books. Page after page of balloon-headed Goops doing horrid things --pulling out chairs from under adults, nibbling before dinner, rubbing boots on stockings, touching each apple at the table before selecting one, etc. And then the rhymes in which the Goops are admonished. (""And so, while you're playing; think of father who's paying"".) A sure treat for children but mostly for reminiscing adults.
