THE TED WILLIAMS STORY

By now you're used to Gene Schoor's style, that heaps mountains of praise on his sports heroes at every opportunity. This is more of the same, taking advantage of the facts that .400 slugger Williams' mother was a Salvation Army worker; that Ted himself was a Korea jet ace besides being the star of the BoSox. These we know are virtues but we would be happier to see them in more balanced perspective.
