AZEET, THE PARATROOPER DOG by General Motta Gur

AZEET, THE PARATROOPER DOG

The intrepid Azeet, paratrooper dog in the Israeli army, rescues lost soldiers in the desert, takes part in an amphibious commando raid on the Egyptian fleet and spies on a Syrian outpost on the snowy heights of Mount Hermon. Under the direction of her voluble trainer Dr. Harubi (""How am I? Don't ask. If it weren't for Azeet we would never have found you. She led us to you like Moses led our fathers to Mount Sinai"") the ""hairy angel"" performs faultlessly, but the endless operational details and expressions of comradely affection and the very predictability of Azeet's success make these dog stories shaggy indeed.
