MORE SHAPES AND STORIES: a book about pictures

The album begins with ""how did we begin"" (legends of the ark) but the suggestion of sequence, historical or otherwise, is misleading: this is a random collection of paintings, drawings, etc., soma of little artistic consequence (and some out-of-scale details), with informal reflections on the content and excerpts from variously related poems. The intention was presumably to unite the mind and the eye in a refreshing and mutually revealing synthesis but the tone is too recherche for the average browser (if there is one), too personal for the serious student. It's a non-book on a non-subject for a non-audience.
