FLYING SAUCERS FAREWELL

The author of Inside the Space Ships who claims to have photos of flying saucers, and who met a man from Venus driving such a craft in the California desert in 1952, brings us up to date on his outer space activities. His brief recap of the UFO spotting craze of the early fifties is indeed enjoyable to read. But from then on, his account of a round-the-world trip in which he met Queen Juliana (he was not travelling in a space ship), his Biblical ""proofs"" of such craft and other-world visitors, and his accounts of how he triumphed over the ""Silence Group"" (international financiers who have been trying to silence him) perhaps may tax the patience, or credulity, of some. A book like this, it seems, is valuable in only two areas -- it can be taken as amusing, or if taken seriously, can only contribute further to peculiar Southern California cultism. You pays your space ship money, and you takes your choice.
