KIRKUS REVIEW

Goodish yarn, in which Inspector Schmidt and his tender feet are once again on the trail of a killer, who gives himself away through wigs, hair dye, chloral hydrate, and lead poisoning. New York doctors, nurses, a romantic couple, and petty gangsters make up the personnel, with Schmidt finally able to tie up loose end.
