BLOOD WILL TELL

Inspector Schmidt finds himself involved in an unsavory Park Avenue case, and Bagby tags along. There's a good deal of camouflage, as a blueblooded mother and daughter stage an effective front to capture an unprepossessing but ageing millionaire, only to have him murdered at their rear entrance; while two ""princes"" ape their betters, while covering their own inadequacies of birth, breeding or finance- and one pays with his life. A double will- a mistress who is true blue -- and a lot of false clueing confuse the issue momentarily, but eventually Schmidt gets his murderer.
