BIRDS OF HAWAII

Since this book went out of print there has been no authoritative book available, and its republication is most welcome, particularly with mounting interest in Hawaii. There are three sections: Native Birds, Stray Visitants, Imported Birds. They are identified both for the ornithologist and the amateur bird-lover. Descriptions cover the essential characteristics, habitat, distinctive song and habits. This is a thorough and reliable guide by the recognized authority, and prospective visitors would do well to add this to their trip literature.
