INDIAN ARTS IN NORTH AMERICA

In brief text, illustrated with fine plates, the craftsmanship of the North American Indian is extolled and his culture described. The various arts are discussed in relation to the tribes that excelled in each -- sculpture, basket-making, painting, pottery and weaving. The bibliography is long and excellent. Definitely a book for the student, this has only a limited sales appeal.
