KIRKUS REVIEW

Anyone interested in the subject will find this amazingly complete, helpful, stimulating and full of practical advice and valuable practices. Many successful plants, stores and companies have been used as a basis of study. The book actually covers virtually every phase of personnel,- employment, induction of employees, training, merit rating, discharges, job analyses, wage incentives, employees' suggestions, employees' grievances, health and welfare programs, collective bargaining, the place of foremen and supervisors, personnel management, public service, etc. The author has been successful in the personnel field for more than a quarter of a century and has written several books on personnel. This is a summary of his life's work and thought and should prove an inspiration as well as a handbook of personnel management for years.
