KIRKUS REVIEW

Cunning rainy day stories with an activity suggestion. A small boy is kept entertained and busy, stringing buttons, while his grandmother tells him the story of now this button and now that. Good child background material of the ""tell us a true story"" variety. Excellent for reading aloud to really small children, and simple enough in vocabulary for beginning readers.
