SNORKEL

An amateur effort about Christine, a junior lifeguard at her parents' motel in Florida, who is a very good swimmer but teased by older brother Larry who calls her ""Snorkel."" Then Christine is vindicated when Larry, ignoring her reminder to put on a life preserver and her warning not to go over the ramp on water skis, takes a spill and must be rescued by his little sister. Except for Victorine's funnyface kids, the one-color pictures could have come straight from a water safety manual. Flexer doesn't even demonstrate that much redeeming individuality in the text.
