KIRKUS REVIEW

As arbitrary as a child's alphabet book in the selection of items for this ""encyclopedia of the theatre"" -- so don't think of it as a reference or source book, except of sheer enjoyment. Criticism, actors, plays, music, entertainment, the credo of things that he likes and thinks he doesn't like. Nathan has no gentle words in his vocabulary, but those that can take him, will get a kick out of this. Good pick-up reading. Not a reference book.
