KIRKUS REVIEW

The routes, schedules, time and distance records, habits, adventures and banding of migrating birds, mammals, fish and other animals are presented in a readable, straightforward, factual text with supplementary maps and numerous photos. We would prefer a more probing investigation of what triggers the animals' journeys and how they Fred their way, but as it stands, this is a clear and informative survey.
