KIRKUS REVIEW

Ingenious operations confront bonding company Lenny Painter when over half a million is embezzled from a drug store chain, take him on the hunt for suicide Homer W. Gillespie's hidden cash, introduce him to scattered dummy companies and send him on a frozen goose hunt. An impersonation proved, the hunt narrows down to the elusive light fingerer and leave Painter in the driver's seat. Good start -- soft finish.
