Semi-sophisticated banter, liberal opinionating, and the capital circus to round out a slight love story of today. Croil, with a son in the Navy, signs up in the Army, and finds himself, to his disgust, at a desk in Washington. There he meets Celeste, Celeste who is very evasive about her past and indecisive about her future. In time she makes up her mind to divorce her husband, a pilot and a restless guy by nature, and when she hears that Croil has finally received an overseas assignment, she sleeps with him, planning to marry him after the war is over. Bagatelle, -- not well enough done to go over.
