DON WATSON STARTS HIS BAND

This is so closely linked with a fairly intimate knowledge of and interest in swing music, that I doubt whether its market will go much beyond that. But have market, particularly the practical application of it, has a small reading list, and this will fill a real need, for boys and young men. It is an opening field -- so watch it. As a story, it belongs in the career or vocational classification; there is little plot outside the hurdle and the slow advance met by a group of boys whose whole interest is centered on modern dance music.
