KIRKUS REVIEW

History of aerodynamic research for the advanced amateur, in aviation, as well as for pilot, technician and engineer. The inside story of progress -- as it really happened, with needs stated by Army Air, skilled teams of engineers, pilots, inventors set to fill the bill. Some advanced concepts are treated too lightly; some obvious, primary techniques are elaborately expanded. But on the whole it is a swell job- a Must in its field for High School and college libraries.
