The adventures of Mac, successor to his uncle, and Triggerheel, the uncle's cowhand, when they try to return to the ranch and get sidetracked chasing horse-thieves, the mystery of a killing and the solution of a train robbery. Leisurely in pace, but likeable in its simplicity.
