THE MERRY SHIPWRECK

I loved this -- both text and pictures by Tibor Gergely. A delightful, fantastic story of Captain Binnacle who had an animal crew on his barge, and of the shipwreck that resulted from the little mice gnawing the rope that held them to the shore. Adventures in the harbor and a fireboat to the rescue. Everyone pitches in to help rebuild the barge. Lots of humor in the story and grand pictures to color.
