FRESH EVERY MORNING

The twenty sermons which make up this volume have no other center or unity than that they deal with ""what God demands to be said in our time."" Bishop Kennedy believes that proclamation of the word is still the chief essential of our ministry. Unfortunately not all of the sermons included sustain either of these claims. The style is personal and at times anecdotal; much of the context consists in running commentary, often in moralistic tone, on current events and trends. The result is somewhat casual, and the reading easy. A volume possibly for ministers who wish to refresh their store of homiletical themes and illustrations.
