KIRKUS REVIEW

According to the blurb, Father Brennan of Rochester, N. Y. is a storyteller beloved by children, with many successes to his credit. Pompey Briggs of this volume is truly a typical, lovable eighth grader, his experiences, and reactions would certainly be enjoyed by any boy who can stomach reading a book in diary form. That feature limits the sales.
