KIRKUS REVIEW

Collection of essays, enough of them dealing with the problems of women -- social, economic, political etc. -- to justify the use of the title (taken from one of the essays). There is recurrent stress on keeping young, there is less of the philosophical content than one is led to expect at the start. But there are many delightful fragments, brief essays which reflect a many-faceted intelligence and a keen observation on the modern world.
