THE FOGHORN and Other Stories

Two long and two short stories, the setting shifting from California to Europe. A woman, many years unbalanced, has a few moments of mental clarity shortly before she dies. A man relives his past existence in an earlier century at the height of a party he is giving in the here and now. A criminal writer cannot prove his only crime and kills himself. A man rescues his best friend's dead body. A slim sheaf, but ably done.
