EVERYDAY BIRDS

This is the first bird book I have seen that is really right for young children. It picks out just the birds and just the things about them that will interest children in the nursery (if read aloud). First and second graders will want to read it themselves. The pictures are attractive and faithful in details for easy identification -- too bad they couldn't be done in colors, but you can't have everything for 65 cents. It's still a very nice little book.
