EVERYDAY WILDFLOWERS

An excellent addition to the author/illustrator's outstanding series of non-fiction titles for the early grades which includes: Everyday Animals, Everyday Birds and Everyday Insects. The most often encountered wildflowers described here are indigenous to many sections of the country. Included among others are the violet, the skunk cabbage, the water lily and milkweed. Each is given a short chapter to itself with a complete physical description of the plant and insects in the propagation of these flowers is part of the very clear, direct text.
