NO VACANCIES by Gertrude E. Mallette

NO VACANCIES

A rather absorbing ""occupational"" story for girls. The job, resident manager of a large apartment house, is in this case more important than the main character, Brenda Garrett. Her day is busier than Eleanor Roosevelt's, with the need for diplomatic handling of owner, superintendent, workmen and tenants. There is a satisfactory, though luke-warm, romance with a young medical student and a happy ending with ""No vacancies."" Pleasant reading.
