DEATH ON THE CLOCK

Nurse-sleuth yarn of deadly doings in a model community near Flemington, New Jersey. Recipients of a dominating old lady's bounty are hag-ridden with scandals; fear and hatred are rampant; four deaths, possible ""mercy killings,"" are laid at an innocent man's door. Nurse Lobbett turns up a false solution, and private dick Handy strikes the right one. Plenty of incident against somewhat complicated and confusing background.
