The story of Joe, a fantastically mean young man, who spends his time defrauding, terrorizing and killing the little people in his immediate sphere, sometimes for a small financial gain, more often to get even for imagined insults and to bolster his own ego. The Tueson weather at its worst plays a large part in setting the atmosphere of horror. Joe's persecution complex grows steadily as he antagonizes everyone he knows, his only consolation lies in tolling himself how smart he is, figuring out angles, and in general like a sadistic child, until he eventually fails to figure one angle and appeal.
