WHAT IRANDA KNEW

An enchanting book -- story and pictures -- an which tempts one to peek behind the story for its symbolism and its application. But better not -- just enjoy it for its very iveness and its fantasy quality ....in text and lovely pictures the story tells of two old people and their lazy old white cat -- and of the home they loved and of the they felt with their children grownup and their grand-children far away. Their wishes were heard by the angels and of a sudden their kitchen was filled with a bt of angel guardians of two babies in a basket -- and life bk on new color and gaiety. When the time came for the angels and the babies to go back where they came from, the little old man and the little old woman went an, t -- and they even took old Miranda, the cat, for after all they didn't want t part with the newfound babies again. One of the prettiest books of the season.
